Portland, OR. The Voodoo Donut Run is a monthly meetup of mostly traditional hot rod folks. They meet rain or shine on the first Sunday of every month at 10am. In December it was freezing but there was still a crowd. The cars that show up are a wide spectrum of older customs and classics, with some wild stuff mixed in. The people are traditional rodders, young and old, just getting together to meet others, check out the cars, drink coffee and eat donuts.

Voodoo Donuts is known around the world for their far out donuts. In addition to the Voodoo Donut, a few others on the menu are the Grape Ape, Dirty Snowball, and The Memphis Mafia. They even hold weddings there. There are two locations in Portland, so be sure to show up at the Sandy Blvd. location for the meet up.

Update: After a long fight with cancer, Cherokee Pizano passed away peacefully in her home on Jan. 11th. The Winter Rod & Speed Show will be a memorial to her, and proceeds will go to her family.
